Looking for a mattress is daunting. I knew I wanted something on the firm side that wouldn’t put me in debt. I decided to give this one a shot. I’m very pleased with it. I was worried at first when it first started to fluff up that it wasn’t going to be firm enough but by the time bedtime came around it had definitely improved. It’s still under the first 24 hours but the first night of sleep was pretty good. I even fell asleep on my back and that is very hard for me, as I’m more of a stomach sleeper. It’s firm but soft to the touch. It does scrunch when you sit on the edge BUT it seems to be getting better as it’s still “fluffing” up. There was a huge difference from when I first unpacked it to about 10 hrs later when I went to sleep. Bonus, even my dog seemed to like it and he doesn’t like it when new things show up in his house lol. Cats also all slept by me on the first night. I was also surprised there was no horrible plastic smell, and what little smell there was, isn’t bad. I did run my air purifier though after unpacking, figured it couldn’t hurt. No smell when I went finally went to sleep. I’ve ordered an additional mattress topper and a protector for it, just because of my pets. My dog likes to nest and scratchers the bedding together so I’m hoping the topper will give added protection. My only two complaints are that it’s hard to tell the difference between the two layers of plastic so when opening it I nicked the inner layer and the mattress started to fluff up before I could get it all off.. it was comical but also could’ve been more problematic. Maybe tinting the inner layer would help customers see it better. The other thing I noticed is that the price dropped even more after the Labor Day sale so that kind of stinks that I thought I was getting a deal and then it dropped more. It’s definitely still affordable but a little let down by the timing. Either way would recommend if you want something with good support.

We recently bought a house and needed a bed for our new guest room. But we were needing something affordable because buying a house in today's market with the insane interest rates means it's quite $$$. I spent *hours* looking at every mattress under the sun but kept coming back to the BedStory mattress.We've purchased 6 or so memory foam mattresses from Amazon over the past 12+ years and they have been hit and miss. The idea of the hybrid innersprings intrigued me and the great reviews finally swayed me into making this purchase.It came promptly and was easy to unwrap and place on the bed frame. It's hot in the summer here so it reached full height within an hour or so and I was shocked at how comfy it actually is. Those innersprings make this feel like a regular mattress and not a memory foam in the best possible way.We had guests over for a week and they said the bed was very comfortable and they had no problems falling asleep or staying asleep. It has a nice give without being too soft and you can easily sit on the edge of the bed to put on socks without feeling like you'll slip to the floor.We were so impressed with this mattress, we recommended it to our son and daughter in law and they have no ordered and love it as well. There were just a handful of only 5 star reviews when we ordered and I'm quite happy to add mine to the list.This is a great mattress for an even greater price!

A LOT heavier than any other bed in a box I have had, though tbf I would usually order a twin and once a full, so first time queen here. But had to push it up the stairs by myself, with great struggle, so it’s best if you have help.I have wanted a queen for a long time and my initial impression of the bed itself is great though I am disappointed that it is not as firm as I am used to with a medium firm. Definitely more of a medium, with only a bit of firmness in the 12 inch though a 14 may be truer to that. Not sure. It has had only 24 hours to firm up though and it is chilly weather so maybe it is that. It’s still comfy but I have back issues so will need to see after I sleep on it a few weeks how it does there. Not bad for under $300 for a queen though, in terms of quality.

Item received this morning, as scheduled. Unboxed, opened and it inflated to almost 13" (14" mattress) right away. Box was a bit worse for wear, but the mattress was well wrapped and looks clean. Will measure again after 12 hours, 24, and tomorrow evening before we can sleep on it and provide a more detailed review. So far, it looks and feels like exactly what we wanted... a medium-firm, euro-top hybrid with solid edge support. The euro-top feels very comfy and just pressing with hands, I can feel no springs. Please use bulldog for scale. 😉

Took a risk buying thise since ai couldnt test it out in a store.It is convenient in that they ship in a box rolled up, since I don't have a truck. It is still heavy and I needed help getting it up stairs. You are supposed to let it unroll and air out to come to full form for 3 days. If you have a tiny apartment keep that in mind, as you may need to sleep in the sofa ehile this thing uncurls.That being said, I didnt notice any lingering terrible smell, I have slept like a baby on it. I use it in a platform frame with the wood slat supports under it to fill the gap in the frame, and skipped the box spring. This has been a good combo and Ive had this over a month and so far, its been amazing to sleep on. Good value, seems to be good quality , time will tell. Firmness...firm enough to support but soft enough it doenst make pressure points on my hips.
