The candelabra LED candle bulb shows a very good simulation of an actual flame. There appear to be two lobes of the flame inside the frosted bulb body that quiver so it is advisable to rotate the candle such that the best viewing position faces one of the two lobes directly. From about 10 ft and onwards of viewing distance, the flame looks very realistic. The visual feel of the color is orangish-yellow and it provides a good simulation of the actual flame color. At 2W illumination, it is fairly bright. I used this bulb near my altar where I also meditate. With some ambient light, the flicker is not distracting during meditation. When meditating in total darkness it can be distracting. I am impressed with the 30K hours of life which means a lot to me since the bulb is lit 24 hours a day. With its illumination level and improved impression when viewed from distance, it can be used in a larger room. I plan to use it in our meditation hall which is 18'x35'. Overall it is a very good design and I recommend it.

The bulb itself seems to be of good quality but the reason for buying it would be the "flame effect" which is not great. It's almost more of a pulsation and to me it looks more like it's rotating than flickering. It may be because I am comparing it to a flame effect that is awesome (my $30/pair LED Tiki torches from Lowes, now those are a flame effect) but it's not that great of a "flame effect" in my opinion. I bought three of these for my front entrance and I will continue to look for something better. Like I said, they're okay but I don't know that I'd buy them again after seeing them in action. I do like the construction, they seem well built. And I also like that they are a single function so that I don't have to worry what's going to happen when my timer turns them on.

I ordered three candelabra base bulbs for one of my covered outdoor light fixtures. While I find the look of the lighted bulbs to be okay, one of the bulbs was defective and did not light up. I subsequently returned the bad bulb and ordered another four bulbs, one to replace to bad bulb and three for the other light fixture. When the four bulbs arrived I found of one those to be defective as well so now I'm going through another return and had to order one more replacement bulb. A 28.5% failure rate, though in an admittedly small sample size, is disappointing. I hope the working bulbs will last a long enough to justify the expense to gain the flicker flame effect.

I ordered a pair of these about eight months ago for the pole fixture in front of my house, and was very happy with the result. I don't think anyone will mistake these for a real gas flame, but they look about as good as an LED flicker lamp can, and we received numerous encouraging comments from the neighbors. But a few days ago one of them stopped working. So I emailed the vendor asking how to do a return, and two days later got a replacement in the mail! That's tough to beat. Thanks, KINDEEP!

Great flickering flame effect. Used in the front porch and driveway lamps. Was worried if it would look real enough as a flickering flame and I am happy with it!

I really wanted this light to replace my larger, taller flame bulbs that are a little too tall for the lamp above my garage door...but the flame flicks too fast and the glow is much to "red" and "orange" and has literally zero "yellow" in the color, so it didn't give the effect of a gas flame at all, even behind the frosted glass of my fixture.

After looking up different brands and models. I settled on these. Have had these going for over 5 hours straight a night and about a week now without issue. Doesnt look that great up close. but from the sidewalk looks like real flames.As an update.. We've had these going in an outdoor light for months now. We leave them on for 5-10 hours a night and not one has gone out. Very very happy.

This is a keeper! I replaced the old little Xmas style bulb in my foam jack o lantern with this baby and boy did it make a difference. Everyone was commenting on my “new” Halloween patio decoration (I’ve had the same one for ten years now) It really has a flame feel to it and puts out a ton of light.
