Does the job for 1 1/2” pvc
Works fine for 1 1/2” pvc. No way would this work for 2”. Cut 11 pieces of pipe today and it worked fine. Took a sharpie marked the length, put pipe in against cutter frame lined up mark with blade as it ratcheted down, and voila, smooth even cut.

Did the job
I used this tool to cut central vac 2 inch OD pipes. The central vac pipe is light weight and I found that sometimes the tool created some slightly pinched ends, even when cutting at least 4 inches from pipe end as recommended. The slight pinches could be evened out however before gluing to couplings etc. Did not leave much burring. So a "good" rating instead of excellent due to the slight pinching of the 2 inch central vac pipe.

A new favorite tool
LOVE this tool. So easy to use. I have hand and wrist weakness from CT’S and other things. This caused me absolutely no pain. I cut some PVC piping. Cut thru just like butter. One of my best purchases !

Description is wrong, but product is good.
This tool does NOT cut 2" pipe. It fits 1.5" maximum. The description was written by someone that did not actually use it. I used it on a plumbing project and cut PVC, CPVC, and ABS pipe up to 1.5". The 2" pipe I had to use a cable cutter to cut.

Makes cutting pvc pipe super easy!
The media could not be loaded. Worth the money even if you use it once! I’m terrible at cutting anything straight, so when I wanted to build some hurdles out of furniture grade pvc tubing, I bought this pvc pipe cutter. It was a huge time saver in that I only was able to drink ONE beer rather than my usual two or three on a project this size. Had my new Welsh Corgi Echo jumping the hurdle in no time.

They work
Bought them to run 1.5" electrical conduit on the side of my house. Worked great a lot less mess than using a saw. Highly recommend this type of cutter for PVC pipe etc. I'll never go back to cutting with a saw!!

Works on anything smaller than 2"
Unfortunately, this cutter DOES NOT cut 2" PVC, even though this claim is prominently made in the product description. It will quickly and efficiently cut any PVC that is smaller than 2"I grappled with giving it 1-star for the false claim, but the unit still works well so I settled on 3-star.

Super easy to use and cut!
I bought this to cut 1 1/2" PVC. I was skeptical at first but thought I would give this a try. I'm very glad I did! This makes cutting PVC very easy and makes super clean cuts too. No more cutting PVC with a hacksaw or reciprocating saw and cleaning the burs! This leaves no burs whatsoever!
