Probably fine for most people, but I needed to return it.
This is an alright concert ukulele for the outdoors. It feels sturdy and sounds impressively good. I did not want to keep the uke due to a few design features that affected the playabilty of the instrument, as summarized below.Good design features:(1) the height of the bridge can be adjusted, a great feature not offered on its soprano cousin or on the Kala Waterman(2) cutaway body(3) good resonance of sound from the bodyNon-ideal design features:(1) the width of the neck at the top is narrower than those of other travel ukuleles. I find it to be limiting in certain cases, e.g., I needed to play the D6 chord over the 2nd fret by baring; the alternative way of pressing the strings individually with four finger tips was spatially difficult on this uke. I have small hands and do not have this issue with other models of travel ukuleles.(2) the weight is a bit too heavy for travel; I would not carry it on a backpacking trip.(3) the fret-marking lines are hard to see because they are also black. I could probably get used to it, but dear Eddy Finn, why not put some paint on them to make them more visible and therefore the uke more player friendly?Overall it is okay. I prefer to keep looking and am willing to pay more for better playability and a lighter weight.

Not at all bad for a plastic ukulele. :)
Provisionally giving this one five stars.*Not bad for a plastic ukulele.- the side sound hole is unique (to me at least)- it has a surprisingly full resonant sound* Note that I promptly restrung this instrument with a set of Aquila Red Series AQ-86 Concert Ukulele Strings - Low G>>> keep in mind that manually restringing a ukulele requires a non-trivial amount of patience in order to do it well <<<

U G H ...
It may not warp in heat or delaminate in the trunk of your car, but this was a waste of money. Oh it’s solid alright and kind of cute, but I can’t stand to play it. The neck has a small chip and it’s not pieced together well. Sound is almost unbearable. I really want to return it... not worth 45$... maybe 15$ but I still wouldn’t be able to deal with the sound of it. Not even for camping, hiking, waiting in my car wasting time ... which is what I bought it for.

Good little, go-anywhere ukulele.
This is a fun little ukulele. I'm not a fan of soprano ukes, so I wasn't wanting to spend a lot on one. I got this one for a super bargain price, which was the convincing reason to buy it. It can go anywhere, or it can be handed to the grandkids without worry of damage. Comes with a gig bag. Down side, frets are black-on-black. I took a silver Sharpie and highlighted the frets, so problem solved.By-the-way, it's a good-sounding instrument.

Plays Like an Antelope
This ukulele rules… I have left it in the trunk of my car on hot and cold days and it always comes out in tune. It's sound is deeper than those great chasms that you see through a telescope on Europa. When playing outdoors, I've almost been laid twice while in the middle of song, and been chased by bugbears and troglodytes one other time for disturbing their sleep. If this instrument was in the D&D Dungeon Master's Guide, I would guess that it has a +2 bonus.A great investment… A great company… What a great sounding instrument. Play like you're on fire -Mr. Mints

its plastic
I didn't realize I was buying a plastic ukulele. It does note true. and has a decent sound so I am keeping it. I guess it would hold up getting wet on the beach better than a wooden one.

Looks, sounds nice. Fun!
Eddy Finn ukes are great! This tunes and plays well. Workmanship is clean. Has a pleasing sound even though it’s plastic. Great for the outdoors, beach, etc., in that it’s waterproof and resistant to various temperatures. But don't leave it in the back window of you car, of course!

love its blue color, not the all black fretboard!
I bought it because of its blue color, my favorite color, and its design. It's as beautiful as its photos and its sound is quite good. However, the black color of the fret-marking lines are inconvenient for me to play and if I have time, I must repaint them to be more visible.
