Dyson Solarcycle Morph™ Floor Light CF06

I’ve been looking for a sleek modern well designed and versatile floor reading light for a long time. As soon as I saw the description, I was sold and it has not disappointed. The way the arm swings and the light itself swivels, and the temperature and brightness controls as well as the switch location are all brilliant (but you can also control them with your phone app if you don’t want to reach up). I also love that it senses movement. It will turn off after (not sure how many) minutes if there is no movement detected. If it does, I’ll simply wiggle or move my hand and it turns back on.

This Dyson light is a game-changer! The precise, warm illumination is perfect for any task. Its sleek design adds a touch of modern sophistication. Finally, a light that truly enhances my space and focus.

Total ripoff. My light turned off constantly and all the blog reviews I read about how great this light is were exaggerated and not true. There is NOTHING special about this light.

Too expensive for such a lamp, does not worth its price

Expensive, but worth it to me. Works perfectly for my needs.

Sure its a Dyson, its well built and looks great and has some neat features. The adjustable lighting is cool, and the design is super sleek—definitely a conversation piece.But honestly? It’s way too expensive for what it does. The smart features are nice, but not mind-blowing, and you can find solid alternatives for a lot less. Even if you love Dyson and don’t mind splurging, I would be hesitant to recommend going for it.

They arent given the love they deserve.Solid, really functional, cool night motion sensor, other cool features.Could do Apple Home support. And not much for feature SW upgrades.

The Dyson Solarcycle Morph is a very impressive and well built lamp. The product is exceptionally well packed and assembly and setup is quick and easy. The magnetic locking works well and I really appreciate the design of where the magnetic ring on top of the shaft raises to create a flush look when the lamp is locked into place.The luminaire itself is also very impressive. The color selectable lamp has a very wide range. I have had it set as low as 1800k and as high as 6800k with excellent color rendition throughout the spectrum. Color changing and dimming are very smooth and the touch controls are very responsive.One thing to note is that the shaft lighting is done via the light within the head and sent down the shaft when it is in the magnetic holder. It looks very nice but does dim considerably near the base and provides very little ambient light in this mode. I would have liked to see an additional luminaire at the base to help with this issue.The occupancy sensor/photocell works well but given where it is located it can have troubles triggering , especially if you have the lamp functioning as an uplight or spotlight. I'd also like to see more power from the USB-C out. When they used USB-C I was expecting USB PD power output given the price of the lamp.Overall this is an excellent lamp that does many things right but given the very high price I would expect a second luminaire and a higher output on the USB-C connection.4/5
