Connects to the iPad via magnets so therefore doesn’t need a battery to be charged! The keyboard types incredibly as do all apples keyboard. Built well and to last so I don’t feel worried about putting it in my bag for school. A really good product that feels really good to hold and use!

In Apple's usual style, this item is of high quality. The keyboard and backing case are solid and fit very flush on the iPad 10th gen. The magnets seem pretty strong but not so much that is causes issues when removing. The backing case has a stand so you can prop your iPad up. What is great is the ability to detach the keyboard part and just keep the backing case with its stand. The biggest bonus of this official device is the ability to power it directly from the iPad using the connectors, so no battery charging required. My only slight issue with it is how heavy it makes the whole iPad feel when attached, but it isn't an issue that would stop me using it (I'm sure a laptop would be heavier). I highly recommend this item.
