After receiving this item, opened the box and proceeded to assemble it. At nearly 78 years of age, I wasn’t sure I could assemble it without assistance. Opening the box, reading the VERY CLEAR (including picture diagrams) instructions, using the tools (which were included) and assembling the item took approximately 18 minutes. It seems very sturdy and you can feel safe that you won’t slip because of the treads on the steps. It weighs a tiny bit more than expected, but that isn’t a problem. It folds up nice and compactly and is now residing beside the fridge. If you need help reaching items higher up in cabinets or closets, you need this wonderful height extender. Another safety measure is the locking mechanism that keeps the step stool securely in the open position. To close, you simply pull up on the small lock handle and it closes very easily. Highly recommend this item!

Nice and sturdy. Very functional and as a heavy person I feel secure standing on. It is the perfect height for lifting things on to my car roof racks. It folds up as expected but I didn’t realize it comes with a little lever so it will not close accidentally! I love that extra safety!

We had to replace our two step stool because it broke it. This one seems very sturdy and like the extra height compared to our old one. It is very stable and folds nicely so it doesn’t take up much space.

My friend is short.I bought this for her to keep in the kitchen.I think it weighs about 8 pounds.Construction seems adequate- with it were lighter.I'd prefer a sturdy one made of aluminum.From her:So we put it through its paces and came to the conclusion that it was a lightweight but strong step stool well suited for use in the kitchen or other places where one would need a bit of height. It has solid footing due to the wider foot pads. It definitely has a slip resistant rubber padding on the steps for an added safety feature. Lighter than our old one which was made for heavier work. This step stool is quite suited for even the elderly to use safely. It has a locking mechanism to keep the steps securely in place while standing on it. I am quite satisfied with its quality, workmanship and ease of use as well as storage. It fits nicely in a narrow space such as in my laundry room. Love to see this in bright and fun colors like yellow or orange

Great little stool & included comedy too...Look, I know this world has a few nutballs n all that, so someone must have done some stuff they shouldn't have, I get it... I just see funny, most times before anyone else... SO YES 5☆'s on the stool, great, strong, I'm certain it will last me forever, but don't drink water while you READ the warnings n info that comes with it, it took me forever to clean up, I didnt even know an old woman could spit water that far, just sayin'BUT YESSSSS... BUY THE STOOL... 5☆'s
