It was a generalized version of the principle. Of course, it was very inexpensive, but it was also rather shallow. Think I ordered this expecting a different book I had seen with a similar name. At least it served to familiarlize me with some of the terms.

I love the philosophy and without getting too deeply into it, this book is a good introduction and explanation to what can be a complex subject. A good quick read that familiarize you with the topic and ignites a hunger for further explanation and knowledge! Thank you for getting me engaged with a topic that I will certainly delve into deeper.

I found this to be a good introduction to the concept
As someone who had never read much about ikigai before, I found this to be a good introduction to the concept. It's brief and gives you a general understanding of it without going into any complex details. Although it doesn't talk about the five pillars of ikigai that other books seem to be focusing on, it does provide examples that help you understand the importance of ikigai and what it's all about. I also really appreciated the do's and don'ts that the author includes about finding one's ikigai. Overall, I think it's a good start for those who don't know much about the Japanese way to a happy and healthy life.
