The Abode door & window sensors are easy to install and link to the Abode gateway. Follow the included instructions attach the self adhesive strips peel off the backing and stick to the door/window. Just align close together and have the gateway log it in. Done. Quick too.

A little large, but it performs consistently and is supposed to have excellent battery life. The battery is easily replaceable when the time comes. With recent updates, these sensors are now detected by Alexa. If you need a smaller sensor, consider the mini door and window sensor.

Use it right out of the box. Pairing took 2 minutes and installing it was very easy. TIP: the 3M double sided paper it comes with is super glue. Try it before without removing the cover paper to make sure it fits in the location you intend.

These were easy to install and set up / connect to the Abode Gateway. I just bought them, so I can't comment too much on battery life. They are working well and without issue for two weeks now.

This security system is better than my ADT system. I can manage it on my smartphone and can command it through Alexa. It is easy to set up and easy to use. I highly recommend this product.
