Seems bizarre to use. You are spraying an invisible gas into invisible gas. Its hard to know if it is working and if you are spraying enough into the jar or can. The first time I usaed the Bloxygen I could see thge gas blowing into the surface of the hardener. But, after the first time or two, it doesn't come out hard enough to see it on the surface anymore.But, I had some Rubio Monocoat finish that simply solidified in the can after I opened it once. The hardener was so hard that I couldn't chip it off with a hammer and chisel. So, I bought the Bloxygen and the next can I spray it in whenever I use the Monocoat. Its still liquid, although it has a scum developed over it. But, I finished 4 tables with it instead of one. So, it must be working.

I used the argon spray to blanket oxygen sensitive chemicals.

A bit unnerving when I took the can out of the shipping box and it is light. It does not slosh around like a paint rattle can. It's a gas.Now this stuff does preserve finishes in the can. I use a lot of Min-Wax polyurethanes and hate it when a $28 can skins over after a few uses or thickens to the point it like spreading honey.The can sys it gives 75 uses. The directions tell us to spray a 2 second burst into the can and then quickly slide the lid over. That is exactly what we did. We got about 14 uses out of the can. Well maybe we got a bad can or something. I'll try it again, if we only get a dozen uses that will be the last we purchase this product.

I enjoy target shooting in all weather conditions. Lately, I noticed some fogging of the internal lenses on my lower-end rifle scope. Probably seeped out over time. Don't ask how, but I managed to pressurize the scope with Argon, pushing out enough oxygenated air that it survived the "freezer" test. $12 beats having to ship the scope out to a service center.

Argon gas. Keeps oxygen away from sealed products. Preserves Paint and food. Cons; wish there was more product in the can, being a gas there is no telling when you will run out. Keep spares in stock.
