English 10 Frequency NFC RFID Card Copier Reader for IC ID Cards and 125kHz Cards

Worked as advertised, easy to use. Spare entry to my apartment now. The smaller fobs are the 125 kHz, had to trial and error. I tried to write to the HID prox card that amazon suggests goes with this (HID Corporation 1346 ProxKey III Key Fob), it's a higher quality fob, plastic is not as cheap but it did not work. It only works with the supplied fobs, but for a spare key it's not a big deal.

I bought the pack that came with two sets of key fobs and key cards for two different frequencies. I didn't know the frequency of my apartment parking garage card so I figured I would just buy the kit with both. I turned the unit on, inserted my parking garage key under the elastic holder on the back and pressed scan and the device told me it had the info captured. I placed one key fob on the back and pressed write and the device said error. I placed the other frequency key card on the back and pressed write again and it said completed. I promise this took about 10 seconds if not quicker. It was scary fast! Now I have my garage fob on my keychain instead of in my wallet like before. Way cheaper than paying some locksmith almost 200 bucks to do.

I have used this to read and write RFID cards, key fobs, and wristbands. It hasn't failed to read a source device I have put into it yet. I haven't run across any encrypted cards to test the decryption software though. It is incredibly fast and easy to clone a source to a new target object. It would be cool if it had storage onboard of some sort to store a couple entries, but other than that, I can't think of a thing to add. It does store the current entry until powered off or until a new device is read, so you can write a couple target devices after reading once if you choose.

It was missing the metal component for the batteries to work. Needs three batteries and only has hookups for three batteries. So... Wouldn't turn on. Buuuuut. It works plugged in, and I dont really have to have it cordless, although that was one of ny reasons for buying this model. So loses a star.But arrived same day, so 1 star, works as advertised on 125khz key fobs second start, was nicely priced so third start, and was easy to use, fourth star.

Device unable to report the serial number of 125khz HID cards nor could it program cards of that type with particular serials or site codes.Seller states: "It can read and write your 125khz HID card, but it can't correctly report the serial number or site code of the card. This is normal. Nothing wrong with the device." I assume they feel that if it copies it must have accurately read the card, internally. What I needed was a reader.I initiated a return. The seller does not provide a UPS label to ship it back. I shipped it back to them and they informed me they would refunded the cost of the item and most (but not all) of what I paid to ship the item ($5 out of $7.50).

Updated: The seller very promptly replaced the original item that had the screen go blank with a new working unit within 24 hours of me letting them know the original unit had an issue. The original product worked excellent at first, I was pleased with the product's functionality, ability to scan, read and write the RFID Cards. Then the screen went blank, while retaining its functionality (have to recognize the buttons with audio) The device is wonderful and convenient, has really been helpful for having more copies of some fobs I needed.

This unit functions exactly as it claims to. Works with cards of varying frequency formats. The included blank tags work well too, but they feel a bit cheap/flimsy. Tags are fine for individual use but I would not issue them to customers/employees where a more heavy-duty token would be appropriate.

Amazing!! Worked like a charm for building key fob. Super easy to use, but guess that’s due to my buildings cards not using encryption, so I didn’t have to hook it up to the computer. Really scary to see how easy it was to work, crazy but super pumped!
