This traditional Grey Thompson tartan in classic grey and red is a versatile throw in wonderfully soft Merino lambswool.About the tartan:The name Thomson or Thompson derives from MacTavish. After Culloden, in fear of Jacobite chiefs, MacTavish's started to use the Thom(p)son spelling, for it was not healthy to be known as a "Mac", which is too obviously a Highland name. Many scattered to the border country, to Ireland and to the New World. The Thomson tartans are of fairly recent origin, having been specifically created for Lord Thomson of Fleet. These were submitted to the Lord Lyon and registered by him in 1958.

Un bel plaid
Il plaid ha una buona lana morbida, le dimensioni sono giuste però è leggerino per le mie esigenze.Sono stato indeciso se restituirlo, forse il plaid sarebbe stato caldo ugualmente anche se leggero, alla fine ho deciso di restituirlo.
