This traditional Antique MacKellar tartan in camel shades is a versatile throw in wonderfully soft Merino lambswool.The MacKellars are a sept of the Clan Campbell. The surname is thought to be derived from the latin "Hilarious". From 1470, the MacKellars owned the lands of Ardare in Glassary. The tartan is of modern origin and can be traced back to about 1930.
