I wanted a little better dust collection than the stock "bags" give on my sanders. This kit was a good price and came with several adapters.The hose is decent enough quality. It has enough flex so that it's not too cumbersome but also doesn't feel like it's about to collapse. The adapters screw on to the end of the hose (reverse thread) to make them easy to change out.There was an adapter included that fits my Ryobi PCL406 and another one that fits my Ridgid R2601, along with a couple I don't need at this time, so I'm happy there.My only complaint is that the adapter that goes to the shop vac has a male end on the 2" side. That allows plugging directly into most shop vacs, but Ridgid uses a proprietary locking connection, and it won't work with those. Fortunately, I had a 2" female to female adapter laying around so I could connect it to a 2" hose rather than into the vac itself. It would be nice if they included one in the kit though. Be aware if you have a Ridgid vac you might need to make a trip to the box store or add one to your cart.Overall, I am happy with the kit. Does exactly what I needed for not a lot of money.

Works on odd vacuums, and I made it work with little effort on my makita LS1219L miter saw.

You get what you pay for with this product. All fittings are supper stiff and slick, cheaply made and do not mate well with any of my dust ports. I would not recommend this product. They got an extra star because is was super simple to return.

Nice item connects a lot of things to the shop vac, especially my sander keeps the dirt down

Mostly works. One end connects to shop vac/dust collector and that works fine. Other end does fit my orbital sander (my primary tool to use for this hose). However, the hose isn't terribly stiff but movement of the sander quickly causes hose to work off the sander at which point it's useless and requires either holding the hose on with one hand while operating the sander with the other, a real pain in the .... So I had a very flexible hose that was the right size which I attached between the sander and this hose. This allows the flexing needed when moving the sander and that works.This hose would work great if it were very flexible so as to not work off the tool. And it would work fine on a mostly stationary tool with little movement (such as a miter saw).
