Hollyland Solidcom C1 Pro Wireless Intercom Remote Headset ENC Noise Cancellation Full Duplex 1100ft Team Communication with PTT Mute Single Ear headset for Church Drone TV Film Production

Got just the remote piece to try out. Effortlessly paired with my basic Solidcom C1 Master headset. Just press and hold button A for pairing until their indicator lights stop flashing and they are good to go.Here’s what you need to know and my first impressions after a short testing.Package presentation wise, looked good. Came in a white “Apple/Mac-like’ box with red trim, and safely secured in foam.Had all the same kit stuff like the basic C1, with additional headpad:- headset- spare ear and mouthpiece foam- pleather earcup- 2x batteries- manual and warranty- (bonus) pleather headpadSimilar in design, but now with the addition of a mute/PTT button, a small speaker by the side(for noise cancellation) and a switch at the mouthpiece for ENC(Electronic Noise Cancellation). The brown pleather trim on the headset is a nice touch, and easily differentiates the Pro from the basic C1. ENC worked well, especially when the environment gets windy. Wind draft may still be present but, is well muted and makes for much clearer communication in the field. Like the basic C1, moving the mouthpiece up will mute the mic but I can now also mute it with the added button and not have to keep swinging the mic up and down. The PPT function is especially useful when the environment gets really noisy and you need full control of the delivery of instructions. Works just like a walkie-talkie, where you press to speak only when needed to, keeping your other conversations private (Eg. Speaking with a client face to face, and concurrently sending instructions to team members when needed). Overall a well thought out design, and does an impressive job of providing clear communication out on the field.Pricey, but definitely a recommended tool for media production teams out on the field.

I have used many wireless systems before and the whollyland c1 pro is by far the best. I also own the original c1 system and can’t fault that either. But the upgraded system with the noise cancellation has proven to work very well in noise conference environments.I use them indoors for large conference events where the range is sometimes 100m and they have not had any dropouts. Recently tested in a 76m long room behind an LED wall and no dropouts at all.The ease of use in being able to lower and lift the microphone to mute and unsure means you don’t accidentally leave the system on when not taking to others.I have used other expensive systems but at this price point and ease of setup and use I would say there is nothing out there to compare.

This headset is easy to use with noise cancelling. I will be buying more. This product is amazing

Fast shipping and came in the mail about a week since I ordered. I got only the remote to pair with my current C1 master headset. Looks good out of the box. Clear difference was that there was a brown faux-leather trim at the headband, giving it a premium feel and look. More buttons at the side and an additional switch for ENC noise cancellation at the mouthpiece. Connection for the C1 Pro was stable, just like their basic C1. Same clear audio, but it really shines when the environment gets noisy. Just switch on the ENC, and you can hear the difference of a noise-less environment. Loving the PTT mode. The same button can be used to mute/unmute the mic, but having it in PTT mode is something else. There were times where im on a wedding shoot and engaged with the public, and didnt want to keep swinging the mic up and down to mute/unmute. Liked the mute button, but that meant that I would have to keep tapping the button to mute/unmute. So instead, switching on PTT mode meant that I could keep the mic down, have a conversation with the public, and only tap and hold the button as long as a message needed to be delivered, just like walkies. Not handsfree, but definitely an option for personal user privacy.Pros- everything in the basic C1 kit, with additional 01x faux-leather earcup- ENC- easy to differentiate brown fauz-leather trim as the Pro C1- same clarity at distances (~250m clear LOS)Cons- price- no charger. Type C port on headset for firmware, not charging.Overall liked the upgrade, especially where Im often in noisy environments with people and music, having ENC is a must have. Didnt really like that I cant charge it through the Type C port. I have my own charging hub from the basic C1, so that was fine for me but others should know this before they buy.So who is this for? For teams that work in both closed (~100m clear) and open noisy environments (~250m clear). If clear wireless AND hubless communication is what your 4-6man team needs, then this tool will be well worth having in your kit!
