As the picture shows, you will get two leads of each color: red, black, yellow, green, and white. The different colors are handy for keeping track of which wire is which when you're testing multiple things at the same time. The alligator clips are about an inch long or so(1 1/2"), and the cables are about a foot(19 1/2"). The clips are small enough to hook on smaller wires and grip well, and the insulation comes nearly all the way to the tip so you don't cause any shorts. Specification: Nice selection of lead lengths Test leads with alligator clips on the end with decent thickness. The insulated cover feels very nice and supple The leads are only crimped to the clips, but for longer lasting reliability it's easy enough to slide back the insulating boots and solder the connections. A good small clips good for low voltage testing or other low load applicaitons Application: These leads work well for small, low voltage projects to test components. This is a must have equipment if u have a multimeter and you want to test circuit. Good for basic electrical class or science projects Keeping hands free when needing to attach multiple test leads and act as jumper wires A great addition to anyone in the electrical /electronics field's toolbox Work well and very handy to test set ups or as an aid for soldering tricky jobs as a wire/part holder Note: Keep in mind these are just the light duty electronic jumper cables. They work out well for elementary school science projects, circuit board testing and small electronic testing and jumping. If you need a set for industrial use you might check the set of heavier duty ones. I have seen many reviewers who are overly critical of the leads, which were unrealistic in their expectations from other shops. It is simply unrealistic to expect an industrial-type product for such a low price.

Very handy for quick test connections
I have a Gemma M0 and a CircuitPlayground Express microcomputer and these jumper work great for hooking up test projects to these devices. My one complaint is that the plastic covers on the ends are rather slippery so its harder to grip them when holding open the clips. I've considered putting a dab of glue on the inside to hold them in place.

Nice purchase
2 didn’t work, but the rest worked fine. It clamps well. Little kids used them as hair accessories after I finished the repair... fascinating <sigh>

Plastic insulation aren’t string enough for heavy duty
I didn’t like it. The plastic insulation in the alligator clip don’t last long.
