Poor service
Product arrived late and when it eventually arrived, came with broken parts. Unfortunately no way to replace these parts. Now I have no confidence in the product. Will have to update later.

Fitted by a pro with help of experienced DIYer (me) and still leaks
Despite following all the instructions and filling the 1st joint with silicon, this damn thing leaks like a sieve, and after a couple of times of folding, the seal doesn't sit tight to the bath on the further joins, with the seal "rucking" up. Partly its the style of the bath, which allows the water to pool in the corner when showering, which than leaks out of the first join, and if the bath wasn't styled that way, then this would probably be adequate, however it does and this isn't. If the first section was fixed, I could then make a watertight silicon joint, but this isn't possible. I will now be taking this down and using a shower curtain, which I did for the past 20 years without this problem. I wanted to make my new bathroom a bit smarter and thought this was the solution, as my wife won't have a larger fixed screen, due to one exploding in a house we were in, with the shrapnel taking a large chunk out of a ceramic sink 5 foot away and leaving 3 buckets of exploded glass on the floor and in the bath, hence we went for the smaller section folder, but as I said, this hasn't been fit for purpose and will be going in the bin. I've given it the benefit of the doubt and an extra star becasue if it weren't for the slightly stupid design of the new bath that allows water to pool, this might have worked.

Looks good and works well when fitted, but could be even better if packing was robust
Its very good value for money, and looks very nice when fitted, but there are a few issues:- Packed only in a single layer cardboard pack with thin expanded polystyrene blocks at top and bottom. The plastic fittings sit in the middle of two such blocks at one end. The 1st delivery these had smashed, and also the supplied tube of 'silicone grease' was broken so a right sticky mess on unpacking. Fortunately Amazon sorted out pick up and 2nd delivery efficiently.- The plastic rubber bottom seal needs to be fitted and sealed with silicone seal. Its not difficult for an average DIY-er, but check the plastic fittings required to complete the job are present and correct before starting.- Use the silicone grease supplied on the hinge 'cogs' to stop the squeeking.- You definitely need 2 people to fit the screen into the wall fitting; to hold in place whilst drilling the 3 holes in the screen end, and to finally secure the screen to the wall fitting.- Watch the video before purchasing and fitting.

Good value product that could be better
Aqualux produce many similar products and therefore have much experience in this area. The 4 fold screen was purchased to replace a single large screen when we needed a folding one to make it easier for bathing grandchildren. This fitted the bill at a great price through Amazon. However it took a replacement to be fitted as the first delivery was damaged due to poor protection( more in packaging review). Not the simplest item to construct as it requires a fiddly process to fit the lower rubber seal, with plastic fixtures that could be more sturdy and firmer in place when fitted (Aqualux need to look at these) Once put together, the screen looks great and is simple to open and close. Use of silicon gel as provided is good for the hinge joints, and I added further lubrication with a little propriety gel in the joints and along the bath edge which added to the seal and ease of movement. Overall a good product which Aqualux could make into a 5 star one with a bit of redesigning.

Folding shower screen
I have given four stars as the product that I received first of all was damaged only noticing halfway through installation. Even though I did inspect it before installation as per instructions I've missed that two of the little cogs were broken so the moral of the story is double check when inspecting before installation. I word of caution do you watch the video on installing but don't believe all that you see this is not the easiest of things to install as shown in the video I job for a keen diy person not a job for someone that does not do much to do DIY. On the positive side The screen looks great once installed and does the job no leaks Job done. And remember if you have to return did not sent by Parcelforce as it cost me £23 and all I got back from Amazon was £4.79. My mistake so that's life.

Please sort out the packaging for this item!!
The first item arrived with a dent on one of the metal rods and a plastic wheel was shattered. Replacement arrived but lubricant had leaked and another plastic piece was broken - however at £23 to return the item by post, and as it was still working I kept this one. As a shower screen it is great, I have a tiny bathroom and this folds perfectly to fit by the taps, giving us easy access when the kids want a bath, and it folds and unfolds with ease. However, the packaging of this item really does need to be addressed - although the replacement did at least have a small bit of polystyrene at the top and bottom. Have also only been credited £4.75 towards the return of the first one so far.....

Does not last. Do not buy.
I purchased this bath screen a little over a year ago. The first screen I received was broken and had to be returned. The second was received intact and to start with all was ok and we were happy with it. Soon pieces of plastic fell off. These were small bits that were used to cover over holes. Then the plastic strips in between the glass panels started to move and come out from their spaces leaving a gap for water to escape. We tried pushing them back in but they had already become bent around the edges and it is quite hard to push them back in anyway. A piece about 3" long has now broken off leaving a hole for water to escape. I have no guarantee as when I went on the website to register my internet security did not like the site so I filled out the paper guarantee and posted it off. Weeks later Royal Mail returned my guarantee saying they had been unable to deliver it. By this time it was too late to register online, even if I wanted to. We are now looking into replacing this screen.
