Good book - detailed and clear

This book is everything of you need to learn Excel in deep.

Received a few hours ago so these are just my first thoughts.The author spends too many words extolling the virtues of Excell.The book is printed in UK by Amazon. For the first time I have found something Amazon does not do well. My impression is the the print impressions are very feint and the diagrams quite small. If you don't already posses one I recommend buying a magnifying glass together with the book.Although it's printed in UK, the graphs use $ symbols and not £'s and the texxt refers to dollars.Amazon, the UK is not a US state, lets have English English and British pounds ££££'s

Very poor quality publication. Has all the info you would expect but very poor quality paper and flimsy cover.There again I didn't pay much.?"You get what you pay for"

Product is rubbish - absolutely no use to a beginner. Introduces terms not yet explained. I have put the book - which seems to be needed for online tutorials to which I have no access - into my recycling bin. The only reason I gave a 1 start rating is because your system refuses to let me give ZERO stars

This is not what I expected, based on the description. The photos are all black and white and the writing is illegible. I hope it's better on the actual webpages.

I'm an Excel user from wayback - and wanted a refresher. THis book appeared to fill the bill, and to a cetain extent did. But the coverage of topics seems fairly random and disjointed - sometimes the sections don't seem to relate to one another. There are many drafting errors - I began to wnder if the Excel information was correct. On the plus side this boof was budget priced. Oh, and the illustrations are so feint that they ae barely readable - some are so small they require a magnifying glass.

What seems like Cheap paper and printing, makes for a difficult read

I would recommend buying this book, I am computer illiterate and I was skeptical at purchasing this book. But it has helped me understand Microsoft excel I am really glad I am able to do my school work and not stress out about not knowing how excel works!

Since 1985 computer program has been around. Now it it’s use is not limited to computers. On your smartphone, tablet or even watch excel can be there.With charts and pictures and graphs, book teaches user how to navigate through program.

I need to use Excel for work, but I have not used the program since Windows 98. Needless to say, I had some refreshing to do. This book was just what I was looking for. The book walks the reader through basics, advanced and intermediate functions of the program. In each type of function there are around 3 chapters that go over the information in just enough detail. The author has a nice way of explaining information that is easy to understand without being condescending or too remedial. There are points along the way to work alongside the book, so that gives you more hands on practice. I learned a lot from this book.

For anyone who wants to start using excel, this is the book for you! It has lots of great tips and tricks to use the program!

The ink on cheap paper was so light could not read. Threw it into recycle bin.
