Adjustable Double Edge Safety Razor With 10 Stainless Steel Blades - Men's Shaving Razor, Gifts for Men

My wife bought me this razor after months of complaining about the price of razor blade cartridges. When she gave me this razor, I was hesitant about using it. I grew up watching my dad shave with the old double-sided safety razors and remember his face covered with toilet paper patches from all the nicks he received. The razor handle is probably five times heavier than standard handles today. The handle is solidly built of metal and meant to last. The adjustable head was something different that I had not seen in an older type of safety razor. The razor came with 10 double edge blades and they were razor sharp, ( no pun intended). Loading the razor with a blade was a little challenging as you had to pull the top off from the sides. I do wish there were some instructions to help get you started a little better. But I got it assembled with little delay. I felt a little uneasy or nervous that I might cut myself but amazingly I did not. The key seems to be the angle you hold the razor from your face. Taking short strokes is the next and turning the razor over to use the other side of the blade is the second tip before rinsing it off. My first shave was not as smooth as with other razors. But after a few trials and errors and relearning older ways to shave as our fathers and grandfathers did. I can tell you I am very impressed with this razor and I know the value will save me a ton of money in the long run. If you are undecided I would give it a try as ten dollars is much cheaper than most cartage today. Watch you many of the Youbute videos on safety razors. You can learn a lot from them. I am unsure how many shaves I will get from a single blade. But I know it is a money save.

While I shave the adjustment ring turns, usuly on the right side of my face it (opens) so I cut my self and on the left side of my face is (closes) so it's not a smooth shave. It's probably user error.The product itself seems to be a good product not tooheavy not too light almost perfect weight unique head and easy to change blades and easy to clean. It's really smooth so might be difficult to hold with wet hands and easy to adjust (alittle too easy) all and all I think it could be a great product just doesn't work for me

I am very pleased with this product. This razor being adjustable allowed me to fine tune it for me to get the best shave of my life. I am a bald man who shaved his head, just prefer this look on me, so I cover a lot of ground per shave and this one gives me a better shave than the expensive ones I used for years. With this razor I get two shaves per blade, which is how many I was able to get with the expensive ones in the past, but with this razor it only cost me 10¢ a blade. My only complaint which is a small one is I wish the handle was just a little longer when shaving the back of my head, but I am able to work with it and other then that I love this razor.

I’ve have had this a few months now and it seems to works fine.The gap between the blade and guard seems to be spot on each time.The price point is good as you don’t get much at this price. Time will tell on the longevity but if it last a year or more than it will be a super buy.The one issue I have had so far is it’s very slippery.Loading and unloading a blade requires extreme caution, more than most, as it’s very easy to slice a finger. Been there.Overall, for around $15, it’s a great razor to have around, especially traveling or for someone just getting into wet shaving.I’ll update this on the longevity when the times comes.

I prefer this style of razor, but I have never had an adjustable before. To avoid razor bumps, having an adjustable can bend the flat razor at an angle that matches the contours of the area of skin being shaven. I'll concede some bloody-faced trial and error on this. I'm a 5 or have gotten used to a 5 setting. It makes quick work of steel wool-like facial hair that makes quick trash of most disposable razors. Even electric razors are a perhaps less risky, but much slower and poorer-quality shave.

I was not please by this product. It's very heavy and the blade hardly sticks out enough. The head of the razor is so thick, that it makes it hard to shave with.

Nice razor but top heavy .
