Great!
I like a few shows that aren't available to buy or stream in the US - decided to get them on eBay and find a region-free player that would play them. This does what it says it will! I haven't used other regions than Region 4 (Latin America/Australia/New Zealand) yet, but every disc I've played so far have played without issue. Subtitles show up, menus work as they should, etc. The push-top lid and HDMI port being on the side of the device are kind of funky, but it's super easy to use and works great.

Works with 2025 Toyota Sienna
We bought this for our 2025 Toyota Sienna. It hooked up easily and worked when other DVD players would not work with the vehicle. We have used it for several trips across the country (USA) and it has withstood the hours of playing. Sound is low, but can’t sweat the small things. Would recommend this!

Use only the included USB power adaptor!
I ordered one of these 4 days ago. Hooked it up in my camp trailer and it refused to load/play a DVD. I returned it and ordered another, hooked it up, same issue-- would not load or play a DVD. So, third times the charm, right? Ordered a 3rd unit, thinking "no way I can get 3 bad players in a row!" Welp, the 3rd one had the same issue. This forced me to reeeeealy think about why they aren't working. What am I doing wrong? Long story short, this is what I discovered.... I was plugging the unit into the USB port built into our camp trailer. Apparently, this port provided enough power to turn the DVD player on, but not enough power to operate the laser in the player. Once I hooked it up using the little USB power adaptor provided with the player and plugged that into the A/C wall outlet, the player worked just fine. So the moral of the story, use the supplied USB power adaptor and do not rely on just "any" USB power source as the laser in the unit is very picky. Nowhere in the instructions or in the troubleshooting is this covered, so I docked it one star for that. They should revise the included instructions to say "must use the included USB power adaptor", which is important to know considering most households in America these days have USB plugs and chargers all over the place.

The best DVD player💯
I love this little DVD player. All I have to do is open the top which is better. The slide in kind can be a pain in the butt because in order to clean the laser you have to take it apart and that's just too much time wasted.

DVD player
I like the size. How compact the component is. It plays well with the proper regional DVD but doesn't play all DVDs. Figuring out the region is the problem

Great mini-DVD player, however USB support doesn't work.
This DVD player was the perfect size for my desk, around the same size as an external CD drive! It works perfectly with my mini CRT, and I've had no problems so far.It is easy to use with the remote, but I must say there is a small delay when pressing the buttons, nothing too major though. Another thing to note is that it saves your time if you eject the DVD, so the next time you play it again, it'll continue where you left off. The aspect ratio is also pretty good, but I am running a fairly tiny TV.The only complaint I have is with the USB drive, which is the main reason why I purchased this. I was looking forward to importing some files and converting them to the ones this DVD drive takes, but so far none have worked. I've tried MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and XVID, but no luck so far; all say unsupported format. I'm not sure if there's a program that can correctly format MP4 files. I'll update this review if I ever find one. For now, I have no possible way of playing videos directly from my USB, the only alternative I have is burning my own DVDs.
