This was a perfect upgrade for the pump in our cat's water fountain. Updated from the original. Has a lot of power.

No more foamy water
I have two water fountains for my cats for about 5 years or so and although I would wash them out every two weeks they both started to get foamy water and I noticed during cleaning that the old submersible pumps had some gooey stuff coming out… decided to get this new submersible pump before I spent more money on brand new fountains. I was pleasantly surprised that two weeks in and foamy water.

Consistent and Reliable
Good pump for my dogs' water fountain. Strong, but it only lasts about 2 years before needing to be replaced. Will accumulate lots of dog hair, even with filters. So, needs consistent deep cleaning, but I think that is to be expected.

worked like a charm to replace slow running pump
bought the pet water fountain in feb2023 do its been running 24 / 7 / 365 for 2 years - the pump was running super slow so bought this replacement pump and it worked like a charm - my pets love the moving water in this fountain - and its ceramic so my kitty with an allergy to plastic is safe too >^..^< <3 >^..^<

Brand new and comes with AC adaptor
So the description doesn’t say that it comes with an AC adapter, which was ok with me bc I was going to use my old one, however one came in the box. I decided to replace everything not knowing which part had actually stopped working. Started working great and fit my fountain although it was not listed in the pictures. I purchased it anyway bc it was the exact same pump that my fountain came with although another reviewer with the same PetSafe fountain had a different pump. So glad it came in one day as I don’t think my spoiled cat drank any water bc it wasn’t flowing. 🤣. Cats…

Beware this will break, OFTEN
Bought the ceramic fountain June 9th the pump stopped working so I ordered this replacement October 4th. Replacement stopped working so I ordered another one November 23rd, again the replacement is barely moving the water it's only December 12th. It cant even keep the top part full because its BARELY moving the water. $20 for a replacement is ridiculous when you're buying a new pump almost every month. I love the fountain but is it worth constantly having to deal with these pumps stop working. I wash the fountain at least once a week so its not like its getting filled with gunk its just a poorly made pump for an $80 fountain. I've spent $120 in 6 months, whats the point in investing in a nice fountain when I could spend $20 on a fountain that will last a lot longer. WASTE OF MONEY
