Got this for my 7 year old son for when he walks home from the bus stop. It comes with a well lit flashlight and he loves that lol. The alarm is sound and I feel A lot better with him having the chain with him.

its for my kids. does not last long. lots of maintenance, batteries run out, have to change it often until i got tired of it.

We bought 1 for our Daughter & 1 for our Daughter-in-law - both go out after dark - 1 shopping & the other to walk the dogs after work. The alarm was tried & it is extremely loud! Everyone in the house jumped when the alarm was activated.Each alarm came individually boxed & well protected plus shipped very quickly.

I dropped mine at a Kohl's store and it went off ... and yes it is very loud. I had to leave the store and could not get the pin back in, so I wrapped it up and put it in a drawer until it stopped "screaming." The battery finally died.

I got one for each of my daughters and older granddaughters for Christmas. So far no one has had to use them (thank goodness) but they all are pleased with them. I'm glad I got them. We are in ND where in the winter it is dark by 5 pm and they all either work or go to school, feel much safer with them
