I used this to extract my stereo from my Ford SportKA as when I bought this, the stereo was locked out and I needed to read the serial number to request a code to unlock it.The tools worked perfectly as intended, fitting into the holes, locking in, allowing me to pull the entire stereo out from its cage.

Excellent tool at a very good price! Easily took out the radio with it, noted the serial number to look up the code online for free. Any dealer would have charged a minimum of £15. Very happy with my purchase. :-) Thank you!

What can I say about 2 pieces of bent steel designed to do just one job? They worked! Praise the Lord. I'm sure you could use them for self defense if in a tight spot.

Cheap, arrived quickly and did exactly what was needed with ease!

One of the extractor tools was fine; the other seems to have missed an operation during manufacture - the metal rod had been pressed flat, but not then ground to a taper with shoulders formed to locate in the head unit release clips. 10 minutes with a grinder & file reworked this to match the other tool, and for this price it wasn't worth the hassle (and delay) to return or request a replacement.Once both tools were matching and to the intended shape, they worked really well and I managed to replace the head unit in a couple of minutes.

removed radio in ford focus easily so could find number to retrieve code. excellent service.

Bit fiddly to get these to lock into the holes in the stereo head unit! Have to get them at just the right angle for them to lock in too release the stereo!
