Well written and informative guide. The first section is a basic introduction to duplicate bridge as opposed other styles such as rubber or Chicago, which assumes readers already know the basics of playing the game, but the subsequent chapters have very helpful insights into bidding and playing duplicate suitable for beginners through to competent club players.

Oh I like the way he writes
Thank you Paul Mendleson for another superb book. This writer explains bridge in such a clear manner that even reading just one chapter my game goes up a notch for the duration of my remembering what he advises. Sadly I am not a top flight player so am still finding my way, but I would definately say that Paul Mendleson has improved my bidding and play by a large margin.

Improve your duplicate bridge, buy this book.
Very interested bridge book. Will suit all levels of bridge players. Paul Mendelson, writes interesting on bridge and holds your interest through out his book. As it says, this is for Duplicate Bridge players and would not be of interest to players, who play different types of bridge.Would recommend to other duplicate players.
