Size was too large even i followed the instructions for the sizing and had a look at other peoples comments specially on sizing....but the quality of material and the purpose of the item as a winter coat is very good....not bother returning as i find it too much hassle...might sell it to on of my friends that fits...pity...WISH AMAZON COULD SOLVE THIS QUANDARY ABOUT SIZING...SOMETIMES YOUR LOOKING AT 3 DIFFERENT SIZING FOR AN ITEM....

I'm about 5'8/9", average build, i bought the Large jacket and it's a little bit too big but not overly big, it's still wearable. I think the sleeves would be too short if i got the medium.The hood is too small, it comes to the top of my forehead, i like them a bit bigger than that.I can't get the string at the bottom to do much, it tightens the bottom about an inch at most.The zip on the chest area is just that, a zip, no pocket. Take that away and make the hood bigger.There's 2 zip pockets and 2 inside pockets, the hood is removable.Faux fur covers the inside and hood but not the sleeves.I'm happy with it so far

Although I had read the other comments, I did look at the sizing chart and thought that the extra large would fit me but i should of listened to the comments and went for the next size up. I did think the chart would be right though. But it wasn’t? So now I’m also going to say. Go one size bigger than normal!I would have to say though. It really is a very warm Jacket and to be honest. I think I could go out in zero degrees or less and still only need a short sleeved shirt on underneath it! What an amazing coat! Well worth buying if you just order the size above!

44" chest and I went XL, could probably have gone for L but at least I can wear a jumper underneath. The coat comes to just the top of my legs covering my jeans pockets. The sleeves are about half an inch too long, but the Velcro tabs on the sleeves work well.For £40 nicely made, warm and has kept me dry on an hour and half dog walk in wind and constant rain (wouldn't want to be out longer than that, starting to get damp). My only criticism would be that the hand pockets are on the outside of the padding in the jacket, so your hands get cold and damp quicker than they would if the pockets were insulated.To sum up cheap good quality dog walking coat.UpdateHad the jacket for 4 months now and the seam in every pocket has split as well as in the arm pit and around the outside to the front chest pocket. So my nicely made/good quality comment will have to be changed to cheaply made and you pay for what you get. Still very warm and reasonably waterproof though.

The sizes are confusing, i bought 2XL based on other reviewers however 2XL is way too LARGE, i would say 2XL is about a 4XL uk size thanks to amazon free returns i was able to return it and order L and XL in hopes to find the best fitting jacket,i will say the jacket seems well made for the price, obviously it is not premium quality, and i would not trust it for extreme weather out in the wild, but for for the price i (i paid £12) so think its very well worth it and you would be hard pushed to find a better jacket starting from £12 , the blue is very bright and colourful, maybe too bright for my taste but its price convinced me to stick with that colour.

Very cheap quality build looks tacky when worn, had it 3 months now an it has developed a tear just by the hood as shown in the pic I've only worn it about 5 times as I don't like the way it looks an today I seen this rip really unhappy with this buy I'd avoid if you want a decent coat waste of 40 buff in my eyes...ive changed my review by writing this one but id only had the thing about 3 days when I wrote my last one!! 2 starts only because I remember the delivery being fast

best winter coat I have ever bought. perfect for taking the dogs out when cold and wet. very warm coat well made and keeps the water out. if I can get trousers as good as this I will have no problem walking my dogs over the winter. would give 10 stars if I could. everyone should have a coat like this for the winter I would highly recommend.

I read quite a few of the reviews before purchasing because I wanted to get a new coat for my dad.My dad is skinny but a medium buid. By the reviews I bought a large as everyone kept saying to buy a size up. The coat I received which was large could have fit two of him in it. Like it was designed for someone with a massive belly.Fortunatley the returns were easy enough and the sller promptly sent out a replacement.The second I got was a medium and was a perfect fit. He likes the coat and said it's one of the warmest he's owned.
