Very handy adaptor, works well
I've got a Dyson DC54 and this allows me to use standard push-on 32 mm tools with it. This is really handy, as I've ordered a universal pet hair removal attachment, and have a lot of 32 mm tools for my Vax, which I can now use with my Dyson. Considering the price of Dyson attachments, this is well worth the money. While it means reverting back to the old push-on fittings, which are not nearly as convenient and effective as Dyson's click-on ones, especially for attachments that will only be used occasionally, it saves a lot of money over having to buy Dyson originals, or if, like me, you want to use universal tools with a Dyson. It fits my 32 mm tools well, which sit as snugly as push-on attachments ever do, and the click-on connector for the Dyson works just as well as on original part.

Does not fit DC40
This does NOT fit the DC40- luckly I have a V6 that it did fit but i did not buy it to fit that- i wanted one for my bigger vacuum as it reaches up much higher- niw I will have to see if i can get ine to fit the DC 40

Rigid end to fit with some variations accessories
The item fits on my DC39. However, I am of the view that the other end was not well design to fit in other accessories with slight different on their sizes. If the other end could be in a taper design there will be great.

Great tool for anyone upgrading a dyson
After upgrading my older dco7 to a dc41 I was very disappointed with the tools. After watching an online video review for the new cleaner I discovered this adapter. It's the best fiver I ever spent. All my old rugged tools fit perfectly now including the zorbster floor tool. I've also discovered that the newer Dyson are rubbish at sucking air from vacuum storage bags due to the not quite large enough hose. Put this adapterOn and it works perfectly.

Don't Throw your old tools away
I bought a set of Dyson Car cleaning tool which cost £75. This was for an ealier model. After upgrading the cleaner, the car cleaning tools would not fit. Dyson are happy to supply another car cleanig kit for annother investment of £75. This item A very useful as it now allows the old tools to fit the new cleaner. All for a very modest layout. Well done!
