Excellent boot and at this price possibly the best on ...
Frankly these are superb boots for the money. Thick, warm, tough, yet wear in within a day. They are roomy enough for thick woollen winter socks yet tight enough for normal ones. Obviously I do not know how long they are going to last but at this price I could afford to get a new pair every two months if I wanted too - which I would very much hope is not the case! I have dodgy ankles and these are extremely well balanced and have supported me well on recent excursions along slippy Cornish cliffs! Excellent boot and at this price possibly the best on the current market.Addendum: 5 March 2019.Today for the first time they started to leak slightly and let a bit of water in during the heavy rain. Excellent for about 15 months which for less than £30 quid I reckon is great going. Ordering a new pair this week. I honestly didn't think they'd last anywhere near as long as they have, particularly as I said before, I live in Cornwall and spend a lot of time outside on rough coastal paths, gravelly area's, slippy cliffs etc. genuinely rough terrain and often in hostile conditions. Honestly I think these are great value for the money.

Underwhelming but adequate.
So far' so average.I mean... they work as a footwear item and keep the elements out, but don't look anywhere near as stylish as the pics and aren't very comfortable. I wouldn't walk a great distance in them, but mainly use them for fishing, so they're adequate.

Cadet boots
Great item to be part of a cadets kit. Not too expensive, which comes in handy when they’re on field craft.

Got these for the winter months for good looking grip
I seem to have had the same problem as a lot of people on here and almost identical situation as the previous reviewer. I only work in an office, but it is a bit of a commute with about 30 mins per working day of walking involved after I'm off the bus. Got these for the winter months for good looking grip, looked comfortable enough and black so they'd be ok for work. Again, I work in an office, not in police, security, door staff etc as the product advertises these boots are good for. Comfy, looked great with a really deep, solid looking tread so I was happy. The "leather" had started to crack at flex points within a matter of about 1-2 weeks. I've had cracked boots before that lasted without getting wet feet, so a bit disappointed but still thought 'fine'. Then before the end of the winter (after about two months) I was horrified to see that the nice thick tread on the boot was almost completely worn away! I got these really for good grip on the ice (live in Scotland, so this occurs semi-regularly). So with no grip, these are now utterly useless to me. I know they are fairly low in price, but there are cheaper boots out there, so I thought these would be at least decent, if not exactly amazing. You get what you pay for, so stick an extra £10-£20 in your boot budget and get something that won't fall apart!
