Product is well machined and works perfectly out of the box. Tolerances are tight but good on the 5/8 standard hitch pin hole (not 7/8 as stated in description). Item shipped in a bubble mailer bag where the box inside had come apart allowing the parts loose. There are several chips in the powder coat, but as this is hard use equipment and will quickly show it after real use anyway, I will not complain. One spec I was looking for online was the pinhole center to the shoulder measurement (end of the 2x2 bar before the eye). As it is it fits perfectly in my hitch receiver with little to no extension of the 2x2 shaft. Measurement is 2 7/8 inches. I look forward to using this in the future to tow less fortunate drivers out of the mud and snow.

There’s not much to report on this. It didn’t fit into the receiver very well. This is an older bumper on Jeep so it wasn’t perfect. But I did need an attachment point for recovery.So after little bit a grinding on the edges and I was able to knock it in with a hammer. A tight fit could be due to the receiver hitch is older and a little bit abused. Overall I’m happy.

The item was like it was supposed to be. It's hard to mess up a chunk of metal like this. The only problem encountered was the bores for the hitch pin. They were pretty sloppy and still had a lot of shavings present. It was as if they were drilled with a really dull bit, resulting in a piece where the pin would not fit through the hole. A couple of minutes with a file (my fix) or drill bit would take care of it quickly. The price is right, however, and well worth the few minutes taken to polish it up.

I've been using these frequently for about a year now, pairing them with 2" recovery straps ( https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01A55MBLU/ ) and chains and a tractor with loader to pull boulders from my woods. They have been rock solid and really simple to use; and even the paint is still almost pristine despite heavy abuse. I included a photo of them lifting one of the smaller rocks.

Perfect to keep in the truck for emergencies. Used it last week to pull a 4 wheeler out of the mud effortlessly. Love this shackle, the ring is large enough for many sized hooks and it makes it so easy to attach tow straps in a hurry.

I got this strap and the shackles for loading my UTV in my toy hauler and for towing or extracting my vehicle from being stuck. I got these are they are heavy duty. The items came on time and we're packaged well.

Haven't had a chance to put this product to a real test, although it looks like it should stand up to it just fine, when the time comes. Seem to be very solidly built.

I used these twice so far, and have had no issues. Held together pulling out a UTV and used as an anchor point for rope rescue training. Highly recommend for anyone with a truck.
