While very cute, the silicone pads seem to absorb heat and transfer it through to your hands, and the gloves aren't well-insulated enough to protect your hands for long. At minimum, oven mitts should protect your hands from heat while you transfer hot dishes from oven to table. And these do so quite poorly.

I love these things. They are so cute and they go with the theme of our cabin. And they work well too.

I bought these a few years ago and still use them. They are great oven mits.
