A 3C curl friend recommended this product after I begged her for info on what she was using to achieve coily curls so splendidly. This product is affordable, the scent is not overwhelming - but is pleasant, WORKS, and I use it with one other product. It's FANTASTIC. I've used almost everything on the market. It does leave your hair with a slight crunch, but you can easily grip the hair to create some softness without loosing the curls.

Love this stuff and one tube lasts months for my shortish hair. Start small. I only need a large pea sized dab and I have very thick hair. I use it over leave in conditioner.

Oh my gosh, I am so glad I splurged on this product. I have thin fine hair that I think is low porosity due to years of dying it and heat frying it. I would rate my natural curl pattern as somewhere between 2c-3a. I’ve been growing out the hair color and letting my greys come out of healthier hair. I need something in between wash days that wouldn’t weigh my hair down. Leave it crunchy or sticky and give good definition. THIS IS IT. Used correctly I have defined, soft curls on day 2 and 3 with added volume if I choose to use a diffuser. A little bit does go a long way but it’s also how you use it. I bought a kitsch mister that I use to dampen my hair then a dime sized amount, rub in palms and scrunch from the tips upwards. If you wet wet your hair the curls will be even more defined, have not tried it on out the shower hair yet. The purple dress is before I scrunched and day three curls. The teal cardigan is day two curls after scrunching/diffusing and the blue pants is before anything was used and day 2-3 hair (you can see how lifeless may curls/hair was). I usually air dry to be gentle on my hair so not a lot of volume unless you diffuse upside down, that makes my hair look like a curly lions mane until the hair fallen and settles lol. BUY IT NOW.

My hair feels dry and the product dries my scalp. It does create good hair locks, however I bought a product for $9 before that worked a lot better and was lot bigger too. Won’t be buying this again.
