Quality fabric
Nice fabric, this fabric doesn't have a flat backing it's fluffy on both sides, which makes it harder to work with.

Buttery soft fabric
This sherpa fabric is very soft, lightweight but warm. I used it for the back of a recycled jeans quilt and thought the warm plush sherpa was such a nice contrast to the cool jean shades. It was not difficult to sew but have your vacuum cleaner on hand because the raw edges will shed everywhere. However, once the seams are sewn, the shedding stops. I could think of other uses for this fabric: lining hoodie hoods, toys, pillow covers, etc.Update: I completed a coordinating pillow cover to the denim sherpa blanket. The sherpa fabric is on the reverse side of the pillow cover. On chilly evenings, it's great to have the choice of leaning against a cool jean fabric or a warm sherpa fabric. I was able to install a zipper with the sherpa and denim fabrics and it was not any more difficult to do than any other fabric. I used a regular sewing machine foot when sewing the sherpa. If I sew the sherpa only such as zigzagging the edges, I always kept the fluffy side up and the knitted side down against the feed dogs. When sewing the denim and sherpa together I would put right sides together and sew the seam with the denim side up.

Not As Expected
Not quite what I was expecting. This material is soft, but it is extremely thin & has very little ‘substance’ or ‘heft’ to it. This is hard to tell from the available images. When ordering sherpa fleece, I was expecting something more substantial and resembling a sheep’s fleece, not a low pile, velour-like, thin, pajama bottom material.
