Sauna Rocks/Sauna Stones, 36 lb Box of Lava Rock for Steam Sauna, Sauna Stone

I put these rocks in my sauna heater. They work great!

We’ve had these in our sauna for less than a week and they are blowing up, throwing rock shards over the floor and heater. We were in the sauna one night and one of the rocks came out of the heater and my husband had to go and grab a towel to safely take it out. We immediately bought higher quality rocks. These are not the right rocks for a sauna.

These rocks work perfectly. I was a little nervous after reading some reviews where they exploded but I have been using my rocks for weeks now and no issues. I regularly bring my sauna to 220°+ F and not a single rock has even cracked.

These stones look great and do a wonderful job of retaining the heat. I was able to assemble them atop my Vevor electric sauna heater without issue. Only one of them cracked once the heat turned on.

I actually have never gotten the allure of sauna. Hey let me just sit in this tiny little room and sweat! It will be so marvelous. And I’ll be healthier because of it, right? I just keep wanting to ask someone, what the deal with cooking the rocks and wondering “whoever’s cooking the rocks… they’re done”. Ok, I stole that bit from Jim Gaffigan, but at least I’m trying right.Look these rocks will rock you and your world. They are very rocklike and similar in tone and texture. For 100 USD, way too pricey for a small box of rocks. I would not order these again due to the price.

I like to create little themed gardens in my yard and I needed some jagged grey weathered rocks for my newest project and that kind of rock does not occur naturally where I live. Nothing at the big box garden shops were suitable so I ordered these.I do think this is a bit pricy but I think that factors in some hidden shipping expense they are passing along to the customer. After all they are rocks and not gemstones though given the intended purpose they are very specifically engineered rocks so I am not complaining.I have no idea if they actually function as intended as I did not get them for that purpose. But I can say that they appear as the photos show and the sizes advertised are correct and they actually weighed 37 pounds on my quality scales. Also in my cactus garden after an hour in direct sunlight I could probably cook on them they are that hot so I hope that helps in your purchasing decision.
