It's not as strong as a wall-mounted knife rack but it works for clearing out drawers and it's safer as well. For the money, it's a good buy as far as functionality. PS-It will fit 6 knives but anything bigger than an 8" chef's knife (its weight, not size) would be a little much.

I use it as a nice display for my Japanese knives. It holds about 4 of these knives. Any more, I think would be over crowded.

I have to return this board because magnets are very weak and my Miyabi Japanese knives simply slide down the board. They’re not even heavy. I don’t even know what knives they designed this board for. I am not sure how this board got such high ratings.

Very sturdy, absolutely well made. The magnets are strong, and can hold a variety of different knives. You can add/remove the bottom piece to hold up a recipe card or tablet very easily. It is asthetically pleasing too! So excited to get rid of my old bulky knife block!

Magnets are strong! I loaded it up with my heaviest knives and held great! Love the bamboo and the fact that it can be used for other purposes and is portable.
