My new bedroom is two bedrooms with the wall down between them so there’s a transition entryway. I wanted it to be very girly in my room. The entryway is about 4-5’ long. I used 4 of the hangings & used a tension rod to hang it. The tension rod I got from Walmart for $5. It was fine with 2 hangings, but I ordered two more to have some thickness to it. The strands are like woven string with the beads scattered through it. So if you have a fan on you won’t hear the beads clacking which I was hoping!!

To make it fun and pretty
This was bought for my 12 year old daughter's doorway. To make it fun and pretty. We had to take it down because she walked thru it without pushing the strings to one side and several strings tangled together and STRANGLED her around the neck!!!! She was VERY SCARED!!! I immediately took it down. As pretty as it may have been, it is NOT SAFE for a doorway.
