Scosche quality and as always...it works!
I was going to install a new garmin 67w dash cam in my dad's 01 Ford Excursion and was looking for an alternative to the $50 garmin obd cable. And a Google search got me to the scosche obd adapter cable. Installation was a breeze without splicing any wires. It works with the garmin dash cam perfectly. No errors or issues with current draw after the car is off. If you're on the fence about this just get it. For the price the quality and functionality, you can't beat this.

Works as advertised, great solution for most needing a USB outlet.
Using this to power a 15W phone charger on a 2023 Rivian R1S.Works great, charges fast for my application.Note that whether it's always on or switched power will depend solely on your vehicle's OBD2 port power, as does voltage. Check the specs on your vehicle to know whether this will meet your specific need.

Didn’t work
It didn’t work out of the box. Tested with multimeter and got 0 volts

Be aware
This product is always on. If so you will have battery drain if you use it on a camera etc. They should have a timer on it. It fine for charging a cell phone etc.
