Hive's own-brand stands are quite expensive, relative to the cost of the unit. This is much more affordable, and reasonably priced (for those of us who don't own 3D printers!). If the Hive had come with a stand included in the box, it might well have looked like this - it's simple, functional, stable, and a good colour match. It's also easy to assemble and fit. I have to think this is not a huge money spinner for the seller, so thanks for making this available. It meets a need and is fairly priced. Good job!

A simple bit of kit, easy to assemble and does the job.

Rather than pay the exorbitant price that Hive want for a stand I bought this. It was cheap and does the job it needs to do. It is sturdy enough for what it needs to do. One thing to note with the assembly which I think some reviewers did not realise is that there are two different size screws included, one size for fixing the base together and one for fixing the base to the Hive mini backplate. Recommended.

The price of the product tells you it’s not going to be a high quality expensive looking item, but it does what it’s designed for. It matches perfectly with the Hive unit, easy to fit and certainly doesn’t look cheap once fitted.Some people have made the comment the screws are to big. This is totally incorrect, they are self taping screws. They cut their own thread in the plastic as they are screwed in, hence they are slightly tighter than a normal screw.

Holds hive thermostat really well

Very simple design and styling, it does what it needs to but having to use the wall plate means that I have a hole in the wall. It could do with it’s own backplate.

Not the easiest to assemble as no instructions & screws are very tight, had to use an electric screwdriver to force them in. The two longer screws gate for assembling the base, the two shorter ones for attaching the back of the Hive stat. If you use the longer ones for the back they’ll poke out through the plastic! Nice sturdy stand once assembled.

Probably a 3D Printer product, but fits well none the less. Pay attention to the supplied screws, they are a pair of different lengths.
