It's legit
I've owned 3 or 4 headlamps of this design and this particular one is just as good as the more expensive ones while retaining the same quality. I was very surprised. I figured it was going to be junk but I've owned it for 1yr so far and it is indeed as good as the ones far more expensive. At under $10 it's a steal.Giving this headlamp a bad review because the batteries are expensive is like giving a car a bad review because gas is expensive... It's not very bright... as opposed to this headlamp which is VERY bright :).

Best LED headlamp for the price!
I have purchased and tried several LED headlamps, which I have all returned due to poor construction and low quality LEDs. This headlamp has been the best one I've tried so far in terms of light output and build quality. It will last several hours with the 18650 batteries (which I tested). Buy a good set of 18650 batteries with a charger and your set. I may just buy another one!

Focusable headlamp, good value
I have bought several types of headlamps, this is the best so far. It has the standard 3 modes (you have to scroll through each to get to OFF) and takes 2 of the Li-Ion rechargable batteries (18650 size, 2200mAhr 3.7V). I have plenty of batteries, I buy them in bulk and keep them charged and ready, There is another similar headlamp for a few dollars more with batteries and charger (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S5XF68R/) but that one is not focusable.

Best headlamp on the market
This one is upgraded with stronger battery springs and has protruding battery post (problem that the older models had). So you can now use a decent flat top 18650 cell without modifying it (adding tinfoil to the top post so it makes a connection). Now it's a perfect headlamp. :)Update: Unit was used about 6 times for 2 hrs each time. I have the older version mounted on my hard hat so barely used this one. The forth time I turned this unit on the button stopped working, so the light was stuck in the on position, button did absolutely nothing... meh, fk it I said... I'll just use it as is and put batteries in when I use it and take batteries out when I don't. after the sixth time of using it the light died. This is however a common issue even with the older units, sometimes you'll get one that will last for a few years, like the one I have mounted on my hard hat and sometimes you'll get a lemon. They are still the best bang for your buck light you can find, you just have to get a good one. I'll be placing another order for one.

Be warned, Battery Not included.
My unit arrived defective, however, instead of dealing with sending it back, I repaired it myself. A wire had been pinched and cut during assembly.I have no doubt that the seller would have replaced it no problem should I have requested replacement.

Don't know how i haven't had a headlamp all these years.
I like to build motors in my spare time, wearing a headlamp i see everything , no detail is overlooked, great when running my lathe. i have 3 and this one's not bad for a single light.

Light
As advertised there were no batteries, also there was no charger with it. I happened to have batteries, but not a charger. The light works fine.

Great Light
Good value product with very good light. Rear battery pack a bit bulky (2X 18650 Lithium batteries)
