I bought this so I could use my bench pillar drill as a very basic mill.You get quite a chunk of metal for your money, but the quality was disappointing, not that one can expect too much at this price.The worst part was that the vice jaws were noticeably out of parallel, so don't grip properly. Also the machined base was not even flat. Even the screws and locking nuts for the slides adjustments were all loose. Parts of the slide-ways were not even machined.The "Eberth BV3-KT100" looks like a better alternative, but costs a further £7. That was the one I really meant to order, which gets quite good reviews, but got this by mistake. If nothing else, the Eberth appears to have better handles.Some adjustment and oil made this a lot better, but was quite a bit of messing around and didn't overcome the basic poor quality.As an engineer I didn't expect too much at this price, but was quite disappointed with the pretty poor finish.

A very basic, not very well cast vice. Its stiff to slide as it is not very accurate. It will only have a very minor use. The description makes it sound far better than it is.
