Nice friggin headphones.... but they fall a little short
The funny thing about headphones is the music you enjoy. Music style tells whether or not these are for you. These get 4 stars because they’re pretty narrow as at as versatility in music genres.Pretty good bass, but weak in mid range and soft on the highs. The materials are very nice for the price and construction feels solid. Gorgeous design and comes with a hard case.Definitely would recommend these for traveling headphones and great for watching movies. While they aren’t noise cancelling, they definitely muffle the outside world to whimpering chaos.

Edit, the plastic in the headset broke after light use (once a week or so) over about a year.
Edit: Durability lacking, plastic in the top of headset cracked.First of all, as a science teacher, I need to address the frequency response that is touted. You can google how to check your ears, but even those with the best hearing (and I mean near perfect) do not hear below 20 HZ or above 20,000 Hz. The kids in my college freshman class with the best hearing can get down to maybe 40HZ and up to 19,0000 Hz. As one gets older, one loses range, especially at the upper end. So exclaiming a very wide range which extends PAST where humans can hear is a little disingenuous. It seems strange to pay for something that you cannot actually hear, so don't choose these based just on the range of frequencies they can produce. That said, these are really nice headphones for the price point.Pros:Can use with a cord. This is a big plus as I have many devices (such as Sansa Clips) without Bluetooth. Cord has playback controller, which is also nice.Battery life is LONG, three trials yielded a total (I did not listen for that long straight, just keep rough track of how long I ran them before they died) of 22 hours, 24 hours and 25 hours. Volume does seem to impact battery life.Comfortable for at least 3 hours, does not make your ears “hot” or cause pain.Bluetooth pairing is easy.Cons:Distance used with a variety of devices on bluetooth (Chromebook, Android phone, desktop) was about 20-30 feet with some obstacles (walls, furniture) .Sound isolation is not as good as really, really expensive headset (but this can also be a positive if you want to hear what is going on around you somewhat).

All-around excellent headphones with what I consider outstanding bass response.
I’m something of a headphone junkie, always hoping for that perfect pair. The Dioo TSB168 scores very high in this regard. They fit well over my head and after sevral houras wearing them, they still feel comfortable. The ear cups have a somewhat odd design, but fit my ears particularly well. With the well-cushioned muff, they tend to be noise cancelling to a certain degree, though they are unlikely to be as effective against airplane noise than my Bose. Material quality and construction is top-notch. There may be a one-year warranty, but the well-illustrated little manual is unclear on this, suggesting you return to the dealer for warranty service during the one year period. I am old, somewhat hearing impaired and lack dexterity in my arms and hands, so I am not the best subject in many ways, but more exacting and demanding in others. The TSB168 can be used as a Bluetooth or wired headset. I tried it on Bluetooth with an apple iPad Mini 4 using a variety of audio sources, including TuneIn for streaming radio, Pandora for music, Audible for spoken word, YouTube for video, a high-end recording application and Nuance Dictation. The Dioo delivered what I consider to be outstanding audio with surprisingly good bass. (Hallelujah!) I don’t know if the ear phones have amplifying circuits or not, but I had to keep the iPad audio output at about 50% to avoid blowing out my ears. Channel separation, where it existed, was excellet. I sampled some Stravinsky first and will say I have rarely heard such good bass in any headphones. I played some Miley Cyrus and Shania Twain and the response was excellent. Next I played Johnny Cash and was almost to tears. I’ve seen him in concert and this was very close to listening to him live. I also listened to the last concert of the Red Army Choir, which is a fine memorial to their talent – and the Dioo reproduction of bass tones. My dictation test was obviously intended to test the built-in microphone(s). The results were good, but not outstanding. Bluetooth range was disappointing. I made it about 20 feet from the iPad before the signal started breaking up and then disappeared completely. Another 20 feet and I discovered I could recover the signal by turning my head, but that didn’t last. I lost the signal completely and had to repair when I got back in range. My initial battery charge was pretty quick, though I forgot to make note of the times. A form-fitting somewhat hard-shelled molded case is included. It has three attachment loops which can be used with a carabiner clip or other fastener. Inside is a zippered mesh pocket holding a supplied microUSB cable for charging and a 3.5mm audio cable allowing the unit to be used as wired headphones. Battery life is given by the manufacturer as up to 30 hours. I’ve run them for about 6 hours and they are going strong. On the left-ear phone there are controls for power, volume, track control and so on. I can’t use them while wearing the headphones because of dexterity issues, but they worked fine when I used them while holding the headphones. Overall, I think these Dioo TSB16B are excellent.Jerry
