Universal dual air gap for dialysis machines and water softeners/filters with 3/8 inch ports (Dialygap, TG-20, AG100-002).

Of course I "liked" it-Mr. Traylor came to me years ago with the air gap which originally had one female connection at the top.I added two 3/8in barbed male connections and had both fluid pathways separated by a partition,allowing chemical residual testing of both fluid streams without cross contamination.I add 3/8 tubing and barbed female quick connections to each barb and male quick connects to the dialysis and water systems,allowing both to terminate to a common drain.The air gap should be removed and cleaned quarterly with bleach,hot water and a brush to eliminate lipid and protein deposits accumulating from the dialysis system.

Took a chance on this one and was really pleased with the result. This air gap adapter works perfectly with large Whirlpool water softeners that have separate pressurized discharge and non pressurized overflow lines. If your water softener has two separate 3/8 in water output lines, then this should work for you. No need to buy two separate air gap adapters!Please see the pictures for my exact setup. My water softener is a whirlpool WHES442, the water output lines are 3/8 inch, and the drain pipe is 1 and 1/2 inch PVC. This adapter should work on both 1 and 1/2 inch or 2 inch PVC drains.

Worked exactly like I needed it!! Used it for my water softener drain hoses. Flows right thru just fine with the security of knowing it will prevent sewage water from back flowing!!

I purchased this to use with a GE Water Softener - GXSF30V. Works great. The double input is great for drain and overflow.

Used this for water softener discharge. Makes a nice simple and professional looking installation.

I added a larger 2” pipe, perfect fit. No splashing or leaks

Did not work for our water softener application, water leaked all over our floor.
