Item works great. It was such a pain to connect the laptop every time I wanted to make a simple change. Now my phone and tablet can quickly connect. Love it!

I really liked the device, it does its job very well, I don't give it 5 stars because it is difficult to play audio through the amplifier, Boss does not specify in its manual what to do, when you activate Bluetooth only the KTN-BASS MIDI option appears and with this you will be able to work with the Boss Tone Studio app. After investigating for a while, I saw that you have to keep the adapter button pressed for 3 seconds, the LED starts to flash and then you click on search for a device on your cell phone or tablet, KTN-BASS AUDIO should appear in my case, which is a bass amplifier, you click on pair and that's it, you can now play audio and practice with your instrument.Another thing I didn't like is that I can't pair my amplifier with my PC, my computer has Bluetooth and even so the option to pair it never appeared, I have to use the USB cable.Me gustó mucho el dispositivo, cumple su función muy bien, no le doy las 5 estrellas porque es difícil de reproducir audio por medio del amplificador, Boss no especifica en su manual que hay que hacer, cuando activas el Bluetooth solo te aparece la opción de KTN-BASS MIDI y con esta vas a poder trabajar con la aplicación. Después de investigar por un buen rato, vi que hay que mantener el boton del adaptador presionado por 3 segundos, el led comienza a parpadear y ahí le das a buscar dispositivo en tu celular o tablet, tiene que salir KTN-BASS AUDIO en el caso mio que es un amplificador para bajo, le das a emparejar y listo, ya puedes reproducir audio y practicar con tu instrumento.Otra cosa que no me gustó es que no puedo emparejar mi amplificador con mi PC, mi computadora tiene bluetooth y aún así nunca me apareció la opción de emparejarlo, debo de usar el cable por USB.

I'm a little annoyed this isn't built in to the amp but I love my MK 3 Katana so I'll just review this part. This does exactly what it's supposed to and gives the katana Bluetooth capability. Easy to install and connect, no issues at all. Of course since I had to plug in to update the firmware, I really don't use the Bluetooth very much anyway. Oh well. Like I said it works and when on the road and I don't want to take my laptop out to fiddle with amp settings it's a nice addition.

Once powered up you'll immediately see 'KATANA 3 MIDI' in BT devices - this is for connecting the mobile App. You have to then press/hold the pairing button till it flashes rapidly, then you will see 'KATANA 3 Audio' as well to connect for streaming. Unlike Katana GO, these instructions are in two different manuals off the website (App Connection Guide and Amp Ref Manual) so it threw me off at first. Other than that the two functions work well so far.
