Good investment
I shoot film with an old rangefinder with an in/op light meter. I've been using a phone app to figure out my exposure settings. While the apps are good and all, it does a bit clumsy transitioning between phone and camera. This little thing is much more convenient and seems to be pretty accurate.I find the build quality is nice and the ease of use excellent. I like that the SS dial clicks with each stop. The F-stop dial feels like its easier to turn the dial, which might change your settings if your not careful, but so far I haven't run into that problem.

Good enough
Works well enough when trying to capture a scene, perfect for my older folding camera.

An Excellent and Affordable Option
I purchased this after finding that the use of a light meter on iOS made for a tedious flow. It is nice having this easily accessible on the camera, especially when shooting with old rangefinders and SLRs upon which the built-in light meters (if they were a feature) are prone to being non-functional. Accuracy is good for me so far for the most part, and if the rules of metering are followed it produces good results. This model is also more affordable than most alternatives, save maybe for a few that would have a longer shipping window.

Inconsistent
Ordered twice, hoping to get a working meter. Neither gave consistent readings. Not usable.

A.I is a cancer to technology
Seems like Amazon is now employing A.I. for their product review moderation now just like every other company that thinks A.I. is the magical answer to everything because my original review wasn't able to be posted because it vaguely cited that it "violated community guidelines" which it didn't. Of course it didn't tell me what exactly was in violation. Just that it did and deleted everything I wrote. It was an honest review that didn't use any trigger words or anything. So here's the cliff notes version because I'm not writing everything I said over again. It's a decent meter. It overexposes facing the sun but it seems to do fine when the sun is at my back. I like the construction and the quality of the metal housing as well as the compact size. I don't like the tiny LED light indicator that tells you if you're over or under exposed, as it's too hard to read in bright sunny conditions. An LCD readout would've been better. If Amazon wants to delete my review again, so be it. A.I is a cancer to technology.

Wet glue
Just bought this & it looks like it came glued?? The knobs are glued on.. I think the product itself seems really great I haven’t tried it yet. It’s just unfortunate how much you pay for this cool gadget & it’s not ideal to get delivered to you with the glue still wet! I haven’t tested it out yet for functionality, but it does turn on. Just has glue all over the knobs.

Works
Why: I bought this for my Fuji GW 690 MF camera, it matches the vibe perfectly.Pros: As accurate as my Sekonic.Cons: 1. Loose in the cold shoe, a piece of tape fixed that. But are you really a photographer if you don't tape something? 2. No battery, none available where I live so I ordered in some from Amazon.
