Q: This is supposed to stop emf and instead when i put it over my emf meter it goes up very high so it is not shielding the emf . anyone else test this?

Hello, The blanket needs to be grounded in order to shield you from low frequency radiation. If not grounded it will only reduce high frequency radiation.

There is no exact science to how many times it can be washed and still keep it's full shielding ability. But when you do wash it, try to use YShields special washing detergent for the shielding textiles with silver- stainless steel threads. It preserves the shielding fabrics, achieves the shielding attenuation on washing, and saves the environment and is suitable for many allergy sufferers. Steel-Gray is a compact woven cotton/polyester/stainless-steel fabric. Steel-Gray contains very fine stainless steel threads, that feels on the skin like a little scratchy woolen sweater. But on the couch with clothing or in the bed with a pyjama nothing scratches. The fabric is being used, because its very wash-resistant and much more durable than all other fabrics!

Hello, Consumer electronics if equipped with wifi/bluetooth (HF) depending on the radiation levels can be harmful. On a case by case basis it can also depend on the tolerance of the individual and the levels that you are being exposed to. There may also be a component of LF mangnetic/electric fields coming from the electronics. The best thing to do is to take some readings and see how high the exposure is .

Good to block cellphone signals but not EMF

It does not work well to block EMF according to my meter. It is thin like a sheet. It blocks cellphone signal.

I have tried two time to sleep with. But ...

I have tried two time to sleep with.But it is a nightmare.It have strange smell, as you breath a metal dust.You will feel as the electricity around you chasing you!!. I have it above another cotton blanket .But the same.Are these blankets really safe.Does the metals it contains have no other side effects.If tiny metal particles travels in the ear and reaches you organs and you breathes it. What is the effect? what is the effect on children? on your partner.I think,using products needs more research to be proven as a safe products.

The best thing for a computer is a thick barrier defense ...

I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about, but I could get full cell phone coverage underneath this blanket. Apparently EMF's can go around mesh. The best thing for a computer is a thick barrier defense you can put underneath.
