Great little switch
I used this switch to control trailer lights on my utility trailer. Whenever the lights were plugged into the wiring harness they would be on no matter if the parking lights were on or not. Checked for ground issues and other suggestions, but found it is just the way the controller for the lights works. Put this switch in so I could just turn the lights on manually and not worry about draining the battery. Works like a charm. LED is bright but not obnoxious.

Good switch no instructions
Used to install a stand alone switch for the factory cargo light on a 2011 chevy silverado. So gar so good. No label for the connections though but someone posted a review with the correct connections labeled.

Easy to wire it correctly
I used it to switch a 12 volt battery box with USB ports, to recharge our cell phones during a power outage. 12 volt power in (positive from the battery) goes to terminal 1, the outside silver terminal. 12 volt power out (positive) to the accessory, load, fuse block or bus goes to terminal 2, the center silver terminal. Ground(negative) goes to terminal 3, the outside brass terminal. Connecting terminal 3 to ground allows the blue “power on” LED to illuminate. You don’t have to connect terminal 3 to ground if you don’t want the “power on” LED to illuminate. For example, my USB ports illuminate when power is applied, so I can use that illumination as my power on indicator, and not connect terminal 3 to ground. If you find the blue light annoying, don’t connect terminal 3 to ground. All your loads and accessories will be grounded directly back to the battery negative and don’t need to be connected to the switch ground.

Good switch
Works great on LED bar light. The blue pilot light is a little bright. It's a nice quality switch.

Works great
So far so good, nice positive detent, light is bright enough but not too bright. Used it on an AirLift air bag gauge because the AirLift gauge's backlight is annoyingly bright at night, and just doesn't need to be on at all times.
