Q: How to install for a 5000 watt generator ?

If your Generator has electric start...Hook the + cold side of the on/off switch the other to ground...when the switch is turned on the timer will be energized...If Manuel start and also has 12 volt battery charger... hook + to + , - to - when started the timer will be energized....Also find a spot ,using a 2" hole saw drill and mount...this is what I did
