Q: if my mixer is without phantom, can a D120 make my microphone work?

No... This product is designed to connect an unbalanced instrument (like a guitar or keyboard) over longer distances to a mixer. It doesn't provide phantom power to microphones.

Q: my powered studio monitors I am using with my computer have a constant buzzing noise, will this fix the buzz?

No. Try changing the cable that connects your computer to the monitors. If the buzzing remains, have a qualified technician check your monitors for power supply and/or grounding problems.

Q: If using with a guitar amplifier will I need to have it connected to a speaker to properly handle the load?

If you're using a guitar amplifier, you don't need this at all. This is for converting a 1/4" guitar jack to an XLR (balanced) input. It makes it so you can hook your guitar into a regular microphone jack. This is useful in a situation like where you already have those standard mic jacks available in a room on one end with the sound board on the other. It may have 1/4" inputs, too, but you may not have the cable to go that far.

Q: Would this work to connect a magnetic pickup with a peizeo pickup?

If you plan to connect a magnetic pickup from the output of the instrument to one of the quarter inch inputs of this DI box, and the peizeo pickup from a separate output from an instrument to the other quarter inch input of this DI box, then run them either separately or combined to a PA via the XLR output(s), then I don't see why that would not work. This is actually two DI boxes in the same housing, but you can multiplex both input signals from the box to a PA, or both signals individually.
