Great kit - very straightforward to use. The wire cuts easily with my kitchen scissors and I used pliers to squeeze and seal the crimping tubes around the wire to hold the loose ends in place.Some people complain the wire is too thin - I don't think so. I've doubled up on all my pictures up to A1 size (with lightweight Perspex "glass") with no problem. Anything heavier, I'd just double up again and twist the combined threads between each hook for added strength. Great value.

Does what it says on the tin. Used it for a large canvas, wood framed and backed. Decent weight.

I was a bit disappointed at the thickness of the wire. It's not nearly as strong as I've had previously. Having said that, you get a lot for not a great deal of money so if you're only hanging light pictures, this kit will be satisfactory

Easy to use-wire is good and strong. Hooks supplied are of very good quality

The D rings and screws are great quality but although the wire is heavy duty as described its impossible to work with. I tried using it as you would normal picture wire but it won't wrap around itself at all. Even using the method they show in the picture you cannot get a tight fixing around the D ring. I wouldn't buy this set again for picture framing. The D rings I have used but am having to buy more picture wire. A waste of plastic too putting it in the case!

Very good value, easy to use better than the old way of doing picture hanging. Would buy again.

Really strong wire I hanged a heavy mirror up with it, although I did thread it a few times.

These are perfect for smaller frames or very lightweight frames. I have been weatherproofing an old mirror for outdoors to create a, window effect on my shed I used two of these D rings and the wire thread to hang the mirror. Unfortunately the Drings just bent so I had to hunt out my heavy duty ones. The wire thread however is very good, I did wrap the thread through the heavy duty D rings 5 times twisting tkge8as I went along to endure a permanent hold.The mirror has stayed in place for a few weeks now and has plants adding extra weight around the top and sides. I did add two brackets at the base of the mirror to support it more but I'm pretty sure it would stay put without the brackets and just the wire hanging it up.The wire thread is very easy to cut with regular kitchen scissors. The small fixing screws are very strong, it's a shame the D rings bent so easily but the mirror is heavy.
