This lovely lantern is finely handcrafted in a classic Moroccan style shape. It features beautiful Jaali metal cutwork in a very intricate design, which when lit, throws the gorgeous patterns onto the surrounding walls, making a warm and magical feel in any surrounding. The lantern has a hinged door for easy access to the candle or other light source inside. While it is generally used with tea lights,this lantern can also accomodate other size pillar, votive or taper candles. It can also be used with battery powered candlesticks, or adapted to use with an electric light source. Just think of how it would look to have a string of these lighting the perimeter of your deck. There is a sturdy ring on the top for easy hanging and it can be used inside or out. One customer used hers as a planter and had silk ivy trailing from the inside through the door.
