I like this product. They don't over do it on packaging, the quality of the products a very good, soft and the colors match the description/photo. The project is easy so I'm sure all ages of beginners will like it. I think the price is very reasonable too.

This is a cute little kit for beginners. It's fun and easy, and it makes a great gift for kids and adults. And the end product is just an adorable little bag perfect for holding coins or pens and pencils.

I got this for my almost 8 year old and my 6 year old. Its definitely too complicated for a 6 year old to do it well. My 8 year old was able to learn how to do it once I figured out how to do it. They reference a video tutorial, but that tutorial went so ridiculously fast that the average child would be left confused. I had to watch, pause, rewind several times to understand what was happening. But I figured it out. It took my daughters several hours to finish, but she did it and she was very proud of herself. I did the one for my 6 year old - it took me an hr.

I have be honest… These are not the most beautiful pencil cases in the world. But they are a nice craft project for a rainy day.They come with 2 crochet hooks, so too can be making them at the same time. Nice for a play date.They measure 7 and three-quarter inches by 3 and three-quarter inches. The cardboard box they come in measures 8 and three-quarter inches by 4” x 2 and three-quarter inches. Easy to wrap if you’re giving them as a gift.Made in China.

This project is a little challenging at first but once you get the hang of it, it becomes easier. The heart pattern is a little bit more difficult but not quite unmanageable. I made each one in a different way to show you what it would look like. In my box I got extra material. So they give you enough in case you want to make a different pattern you can.
