SURVIVOR TREE

The book is beautiful illustrated worded with poise. I gave it to my daughter. What a wonderful piece of art and really material to see and hear the words of grief loss suffering in a very positive light.

An absolutely stunning book in word and image

Survivor Tree is such a poignant, memorable book.The text is lyrically beautiful. Each page resonates so thoroughly so I don't have a favorite. But the words on the last page are heartbreakingly perfect.The illustrations so completely enhance the story. I was pleased to see that Aaron Becker works in watercolor as I prefer art that is done by hand.I look forward to future books by this author and this illustrator!

Needed this for a project I did in a classroom. I loved reading this book to the kids and the message that was in it. Hope after a tragedy!

This book is amazing!Love the overall shape - taller & thinner like a building. The illustrations are so beautiful and capture more details than the story provides. The story tackles a difficult story - Sept. 11 in a way that is kid friendly. It really is about healing. I highly recommend.
